[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Naver has expanded its digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising solution into office buildings, aiming to improve accessibility for small and medium-sized businesses while strengthening its push into the fast-growing DOOH market.
According to industry sources on the 27th, Naver added office building lobbies as a new display channel for its DOOH solution, “Ad Boost Screen,” on the 23rd. The expansion follows its existing inventory, which includes movie theaters, large urban LED billboards, taxi-mounted LED screens, restaurant ordering and payment kiosks, and screen golf kiosks. The company plans to further broaden its portfolio by adding elevator displays in the future.
Ad Boost Screen is Naver’s advertising solution that delivers customized ads across digital media installed in offline environments such as cinemas, billboards, and public transportation. By digitizing traditional out-of-home advertising and incorporating artificial intelligence (AI), the platform lowers entry barriers for advertisers.
Notably, Naver has focused on making the platform more accessible to small and mid-sized businesses that previously faced difficulties entering the outdoor advertising market. For example, its proprietary video AI technology, “AutoClip AI,” automatically optimizes aspect ratios and sizes of video creatives to fit various display formats across different media channels.
