Jeong Shin-ah, the nominee for Kakao's CEO, recently said in an open talk that she would change Daum CIC to content CIC. Through this, we will step up efforts to strengthen content services such as short form, cafe, story, and news.
Yang Joo-il, the current head of KakaoTalk, will head the Content CIC. Yang served as CEO of NHN Ticketlink, CEO of NHN Bugs, and CEO of NHN Travel Doctor through Hangame and Naver. He works for a variety of IT companies and has a high understanding of IT services as a whole.
