[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Kumho Petrochemical's fourth-quarter earnings worsened compared to the same period last year.
Kumho Petrochemical announced on the 29th that it recorded sales of 1.5159 trillion won and operating profit of 36.7 billion won in the fourth quarter of last year. Compared to the same period last year, sales and operating profit fell 7.9% and 67.8%, respectively. Kumho Petrochemical's sales and operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2022 were 1.6455 trillion won and 113.8 billion won, respectively.
The annual performance in 2023 was 6.3223 trillion won in sales and 359 billion won in operating profit. It fell 20.7% and 68.7%, respectively, from the previous year. Kumho Petrochemical's sales and operating profit in 2022 are 7.9756 trillion won and 1.1473 trillion won, respectively.
