SGC E-Tech Construction has won a 200 billion won plant construction project in Malaysia

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] SGC E-Tech E & C announced on the 26th that it has won a contract to build an epichlorophyll (ECH) production plant worth 247 billion won and a chloralkali (CA) production plant in Malaysia.

The construction of the ECH production plant is a project with OCI Kumho, which will be established within the Samala Industrial Complex in Malaysia.

OCI Kumho is a joint venture between Malaysian corporation OCIM, a 100% subsidiary of OCI Holdings, and Kumho P&B Chemical.

Once the plant is in operation, it can produce 100,000 tons of epoxy material ECH based on bio raw materials annually.

The construction period is 20 months from the construction date.

The construction of the CA production plant, a raw material for ECH, is a project in cooperation with OCIM, which is also built within the Samala Industrial Complex.

The production is 110,000 tons per year and the construction period is 19 months from the construction date.

SGC Etech E&C won a total of 1 trillion won at the end of the year, including the construction of a new LH Gunpo apartment worth 150 billion won last month and the Gwangju apartment project worth 110 billion won.
