[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Hanwha Life Insurance (GA) made remarkable achievements in sales and productivity last month. It ranked first in two areas among GAs with insurance companies as their parent company.
According to the insurance agency's performance in December last year, People Life's production per person was 1.06 million won. It was the highest GA with an insurance company as its parent company.
Productivity per person in operation refers to the performance per person by a designer who actually conducts business activities. It is one of the important indicators of GA's operating efficiency.
Dongyang Life Insurance (880,000 won), Mirae Asset (870,000 won), and Hanwha Life Lab (820,000 won).
People Life has increased productivity per person in operation, focusing on corporate operations. Corporate operations are aimed at high-value asset owners such as small and medium-sized business representatives. It sells regular management insurance through financial solution provision.
The monthly premium for management regular insurance starts at least 1 million won. In some cases, monthly premiums are KRW 50 million and KRW 100 million. The size of the corporate sales organization in People Life is about 1,000.
Hanwha Life GA also had the highest sales (first-time monthly premium). Hanwha Life Financial Services posted sales of 13.5 billion won last month. 81.5% (12.3 billion won) of sales came from life insurance. Sales of Hanwha Life Financial Services are more than double that of GA Korea, which ranks second.
Hanwha Life Insurance received 100 billion won in investment from Korea Investment Finance Holdings in September last year. Korea Financial Group held an 11.1% stake in Hanwha Life Financial Services as an investment. Hanwha Life will invest this money to strengthen the operating power of Hanwha Life Financial Services.
