Golfzon America has hired Sean Byun as its new CEO

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Golf Zone announced on the 15th that it will appoint new CEO Sean Byun as the new face of Golf Zone America and focus on expanding and accelerating its business in the American market, which is considered to have the highest growth potential in the golf simulator market.

Sean Byun, Golfzon America's new CEO, earned a master's degree in sports management from the University of San Francisco in the United States, and started marketing and sports business related to various golf competitions at the Women's Professional Golf Tour (LPGA) in 2008.

He established the LPGA Asia branch in Korea in 2014, served as Asian Chief Business Officer (CBO), and was the first and youngest Asian LPGA ELT member to be in charge of all Asian businesses, including tournaments and sponsorship.

The new CEO Byun, who has more than 16 years of experience in global sports business and LPGA, has contributed to attracting a number of LPGA's major LPGA competitions such as "BMW Ladies Championship" and "Lotte Championship" in Malaysia and China, as well as South Korea and the United States.

Golf Zone America is the American subsidiary of Golf Zone, which was established in 2016, and serves as a base for exploring markets and developing businesses in the American market through globalization strategies.

Golf Zone America plans to pursue aggressive investment and marketing in the Americas.
