Toss, a financial platform company, will release an affordable phone at the end of this month. This is the second time that a financial business operator has entered the affordable phone market after Kookmin Bank.
According to the telecommunications industry on the 15th, Toss will introduce its MVNO phone 'Toss Mobile' as early as the 30th. There are three affiliated communication networks: SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+, and there are about five plans.
The industry predicts that Toss will target customers of the three telecommunication companies with services linked to existing apps. Toss will allow consumers to subscribe to MVNO in the Toss app and handle problems caused by using the service in consultation with the 24-hour customer center. It is also said that the company is considering returning some of the fees for the remaining data to customers.
