[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Celltrion said on the 13th that it has decided to pay dividends of 500 won per share of ordinary stocks and a total of 103.7 billion won in cash. Celltrion Healthcare will receive dividends as a shareholder of integrated Celltrion, which is integrated into new shares, and the dividend date is the 31st.

The dividend was calculated from the total number of shares issued by the merged corporation (about 220.29 million shares) to 207.38 million shares excluding equity shares (about 12.91 million shares) as of the 28th, the date of the merger between Celltrion and Celltrion Healthcare.

In addition, Celltrion plans to retire about 423.6 billion won and 2.31 million shares in January next year to minimize dilution of stock value. Celltrion said the actual dividend effect of the decrease in the total number of shares issued is expected to be about 1.0%.

Celltrion Pharmaceutical will allocate 0.05 shares per ordinary share in consideration of growth and cash flow. The total number of shares issued is 1,972,158 shares (about 168.8 billion won). Dividends and dividend shares of both companies will be paid within a month after final approval at next year's regular shareholders' meeting.
