[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] KT is promoting Mongolia's national digital transformation (DX) project. It was based on the results of a joint national DX study with the Mongolian government over the past 10 weeks.

KT announced on the 17th that it held a final briefing session on the Mongolian National DX Consulting for key officials of the Mongolian Ministry of Digital Development (Digital Ministry) at the National Assembly building in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The report, organized by the Digital Ministry of Mongolia, discussed priority tasks and expected effects, including △ the strategy to foster new growth engines based on the digital control tower △ the advancement of tourism DX △ agricultural DX △ e-government services, which KT proposed to the Mongolian government.

The two sides agreed to cooperate with each other in areas such as fostering new national growth engines through DX and upgrading e-government services.

Currently, the Mongolian government is seeking to diversify its industry to reorganize its industrial structure focused on mining. Last year, the 'Digital State Plan' was enacted to foster new growth engines through the national DX and apply them to other industries.
