[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Seoul, [Date] — Kwangdong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Chairman & CEO Seong-Won Choi) today refuted a media report claiming that the signing of the main contract with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation (JPDC) for the consignment sales of Jeju Samdasoo had been delayed.
The company clarified that the official negotiations for the consignment sales contract began last week by mutual agreement between the two parties and will proceed toward final contract signing after detailed discussions.
Kwangdong further emphasized that the consignment sales contract for Jeju Samdasoo outside of Jeju requires careful review and negotiation regarding supply scale, distribution strategies, and other key matters. Therefore, a thorough negotiation process is both standard and expected.
