[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Cho Min-soo, head of Costco Korea, said a worker in his 20s is in charge of organizing shopping carts at a parliamentary audit of the Environment and Labor Committee Regarding the accident that died in the heat, he denied the poor working environment, saying, "The previously known working environment is much different from the facts."

Cho also reportedly said, "Isn't he had a chronic disease" at the worker's funeral, but refused to admit it, saying, "I have never done so."

Also, when Lee asked, "Did you go to the worker's funeral and tell him that he originally had a chronic disease?" Cho replied, "I have never done that."

According to Lee, Costco's labor union investigated how remorseful and responsible the company was after the accident, and 90 percent of its employees said it was "not true." In fact, Costco's labor union has engaged in 25 rounds of negotiations with the management, but has yet to reach a collective agreement as it has failed to reach an agreement.
