[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] A subcontracted worker died after a fall at GS Caltex’s Incheon Logistics Center.
According to GS Caltex on September 14, the incident occurred around 12:50 p.m. on September 12, when a man in his 60s, identified only as Mr. A, fell and struck his head on the floor while preparing for afternoon operations during his lunch break. He was immediately transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
GS Caltex stated that it promptly reported the accident to the relevant authorities and took follow-up measures. The company added that an investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
