E-Mart Files Complaint Against Executive for KRW 11.4 Billion Breach of Trust

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL, November 18 — E-Mart announced in a regulatory filing that it has filed a criminal complaint against an unregistered executive, identified as Mr. Lee, for breach of trust under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.


The alleged amount involved is KRW 11.4 billion, equivalent to 0.09% of the company’s consolidated equity as of last year.


E-Mart stated it will take all necessary actions in accordance with legal procedures and will fully cooperate with the authorities’ investigation.
