[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL, South Korea — November 3, 2025 — Renault Korea Motors announced that it sold 7,201 vehicles worldwide in October, marking a 42.2% decrease compared with the same month last year.
Domestic sales dropped 40.4% to 3,810 units, while exports declined 44.1% to 3,391 units, the company said.

The decline in domestic sales was attributed to reduced production during the Chuseok holiday period and a base effect following strong sales of the company’s flagship midsize SUV, the Grand Koleos, which had sold 5,385 units in October last year, compared with 2,934 units last month — a 45.5% decrease.

On the export front, the downturn was primarily due to weaker demand for the Arkana, one of Renault Korea’s mainstay models, which saw shipments fall 56.7% year-on-year to 2,245 units as it entered its sixth year on the global market.

Other models contributed modestly to total sales, including 391 units of the QM6 SUV and 22 units of the all-electric Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric.

Looking ahead, Renault Korea said it plans to focus on hybrid models, which remain strong performers both domestically and internationally. In October, hybrid variants accounted for roughly two-thirds (4,767 units) of the company’s total monthly sales.
Among them, the Grand Koleos E-Tech Hybrid sold 2,578 units, representing 87.9% of the Grand Koleos lineup. Since its launch in September 2023, cumulative sales of the model have exceeded 51,550 units.
