[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] INCHEON, South Korea — November 11, 2025 — The Samsung Biologics Labor Union has filed a criminal complaint against a company executive over the alleged exposure of employee personal data and subsequent interference with union activities.

According to the union, a senior executive identified as Mr. A was reported to the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station on charges of obstruction of business, unlawful intrusion into a building, and unfair labor practices.

The complaint follows a recent incident in which the company’s HR shared folder was reportedly accessible to all employees, inadvertently exposing confidential personnel evaluation data, promotion records, and personal information.

The union claimed that after reporting the exposure to management, the executive and several security personnel entered the union office without authorization, attempted to seize three computers, and later cut off the office network connection.

Union head Park Jae-sung stated, “The exposed materials contained highly sensitive information, including low-performance employee lists and internal plans to expand the proportion of low ratings,” adding that the union may consider additional legal action against other involved employees.

Samsung Biologics said earlier on November 6 that it had identified an access permission error during an internal system update and had “immediately restricted access” after discovering the issue.
