[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Merchant satisfaction with South Korea’s three major food delivery platforms—Baedal Minjok, Coupang Eats, and Yogiyo—averaged only 49.1 out of 100, according to a government-backed survey released Wednesday.

The survey, jointly conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, showed the score was well below the 73.47-point average for large companies evaluated under the shared-growth index.

Among the three platforms, Yogiyo ranked highest at 49.5 points, followed by Coupang Eats at 49.4 and Baedal Minjok at 48.4. Fee fairness scored the lowest at 38.2 points, compared with transaction terms and cooperation efforts, underscoring persistent dissatisfaction over commission structures.

Only 28.3% of merchants said they were satisfied with delivery app fees, while 63.2% expressed overall satisfaction with delivery app usage, indicating that cost burdens remain the main source of complaints.
