Samsung Securities surpassed 1.4 million YouTube subscribers for the first time in the industry

[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The number of subscribers to Samsung Securities' official YouTube channel "Samsung POP" surpassed 1.4 million for the first time in the securities industry. The number of YouTube content views is also the highest in the industry with 160 million views.

According to Samsung Securities on the 29th, the number of subscribers to Samsung POP surpassed 1.4 million on the 22nd and now exceeds 1.41 million.

Samsung Securities tried various contents through YouTube, including the nation's first investor sentiment talk show "I Like That" and a road quiz show "Samsung Securities will Treat" hosted in the Han River and other places. Lecture-type content in which employees explain the economy and investment themselves, and Pension Training Centers where pension experts from Samsung Securities are lecturers, have also gained popularity.

"Research Highlights" hosted by Virtual analysts and "Research for You," where analysts at Samsung Securities' research center deliver investment information live at 4 p.m. every day, are also drawing keen attention. Especially, for the first time in the industry, 'real-life video' menu, which can be invested while watching videos, was opened to enhance the convenience of investors.

With the addition of soft content for the MZ target to investment information content, subscribers have also become significantly younger. By the beginning of last year, subscribers under the age of 34 accounted for 21.8% of all subscribers, up 33.5% this year.

Meanwhile, Samsung Securities will hold a 'Shortform Video Contest for College Students' until the 20th of next month to celebrate the 1.4 million subscribers.
