[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] There have been cases in which virtual asset issuers disclose both brokerage agencies and exchanges they used to sell coins.

According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 14th, Wemade announced that it sold 8,218,761 WEMIXs last year through virtual asset management company Hyperithm. Hyperithm is a brokerage agency that sold Wemix on foreign virtual asset exchanges GateIO and MEXC.

Wemade did not sell Wemix through an intermediary agency in the first half of this year. However, 8,218,761 Wemix coins were sold for electricity (2022) and 70.8 billion won at the time.

It is sold at an average of 8,600 won per Wemix. The price of Wemix was in the 8,000 won range last year in early January and February. This means that it is highly likely that the company sold Wemix during this period. Wemade said it did not sell Wemix in the second half of last year.

Hyperithm brokered the sale, sold Wemix on overseas exchanges, acquired 55,923,859 USDTs and delivered them to WeMade.

Analysts say that Wemade clarified its disclosures on the sale of coins because the Financial Supervisory Service drew up a draft of accounting supervision guidelines and the mandatory disclosure of annotations last month. In particular, this is the first time a coin issuer has unveiled a selling exchange and brokerage agency.

However, in the first half of this year, WeMade directly used Wemix. Wemade said that there was no Wemix sold through an intermediary agency in the first half of this year, and about 3.78 million Wemixes were directly used.
