[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] NCsoft made an announcement on the 7th that its consolidated operating profit fell 75.4% on-year to KRW 1,373 billion last year.
Sales also fell 30.8% year-on-year to 1.7,798 trillion won. Net profit fell 50.9 percent to 2,139 billion won.
Operating profit in the fourth quarter was 3.85,300 billion won, down 91.9% from a year earlier. Since NCsoft recorded operating profit of 81.6 billion won in the first quarter of last year, its profits have continued to decline, including 35.3 billion won in the second quarter and 16.5 billion won in the third quarter.
NCsoft will announce detailed management results and plans for this year through its performance announcement on the morning of the 8th.
