OCI Holdings Establishes Solar Cell Corporation in Texas to Build Solar Power Supply Chain from Malaysia to the U.S.

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] OCI Holdings is establishing a solar cell manufacturing plant in Texas, marking the company's entry into building a solar power supply chain from Malaysia to the U.S.


The supply chain being developed by OCI Holdings includes OCI TerraSus (polysilicon), the new solar cell plant, MSE (modules), and OCI Energy (solar power generation).


OCI Holdings announced on March 20 that it will set up a solar cell production facility in Texas with an investment of $265 million (approximately 384 billion KRW).
