[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) and labor, management and the government agreed to meet to start talks and hold detailed discussions on the operation of high-speed railways sometime next month.

As a result, the Korean Railroad Workers' Union decided to suspend the strike schedule to minimize public inconvenience ahead of Chuseok.

KORAIL apologized for the inconvenience caused by the strike and said it would make every effort to transport Chuseok.
