GS Chairman’s Daughter Acquires ₩4.9 Billion Worth of GS Shares Over Two Months

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL, August 5, 2025 — Heo Jeong-hyeon (25), the only daughter of GS Group Chairman Huh Tae-soo and a fourth-generation member of the GS founding family, has purchased approximately KRW 4.9 billion (USD 3.7 million) worth of GS shares over the past two months.



According to a filing with the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) on August 5, Ms. Heo acquired 18,000 GS shares through open market purchases on July 29 for approximately KRW 893.88 million.



She had previously purchased 45,700 shares on June 2 and 43,000 shares on June 19, spending a total of KRW 3.99 billion across the two transactions.



Following these purchases, Ms. Heo’s stake in GS increased from 587,479 shares (0.62%) to 694,179 shares (0.73%).



During the same period, the combined ownership stake of 59 related parties, including GS Honorary Chairman Huh Chang-soo and affiliated entities, rose slightly from 52.37% to 52.50%.
