[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hanwha Life Insurance (CEO Yeo Seung-joo) did not take any action even after learning of the fraud of its star insurance planner, which led to a large amount of money, including alimony, while raising the case.

According to Alpha Biz coverage on the 25th, 30 people, including Kang, filed at least billions of won compensation suit against Hanwha Life Insurance and Hanwha Life's star insurance planner Lee for property damage and mental pain.

According to the complaint, Hanwha Life Insurance and others reportedly issued only minor disciplinary measures, including a warning against its branch manager Kim, even though it was clearly aware of the problem with the insurance recruitment of fraudulent products by its star insurance planner Lee.

According to Article 16 of the Financial Consumer Protection Act, insurance companies impose management obligations on executives and insurance planners. However, Hanwha Life only emphasized performance.

The star insurance planner in question, identified only by his surname Lee, was found to have been a recognized insurance designer within Hanwha Life Insurance to join the ACE club, which is given when his performance is at the top.

In addition, the insurance planner, identified only by his surname Lee, was sentenced to seven years in prison last month for defrauding about 4.3 billion won from a total of 67 victims by encouraging them to join false trust products.
