Naver's KREAM to Launch 'KREAM Pay', a Subsidiary for Simplified Payment Services

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Naver's subsidiary, KREAM, a limited-edition trading platform, is set to enter the simplified payment market. The company plans to establish a new subsidiary called "KREAM Pay" as early as next year.


KREAM announced on the 19th that it intends to launch the new entity, KREAM Pay, for the purpose of issuing and managing prepaid electronic payment methods and providing electronic payment agency services.

KREAM Pay will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of KREAM, with CFO Kim Young-ki appointed as the CEO.
