[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Labor union members of Kakao affiliates, including Kakao Enterprise, Kakao Entertainment and XL Games, gathered again in front of the Kakao hideout in Pangyo.

They claim that the union demanded management's responsibility for the ongoing job insecurity, but the management has not responded to any of it so far.

The union will later this week call for the management's audit and withdrawal of the advisory contract for Baek Sang-yup, a part-time adviser who was former head of Kakao Enterprise.

The Kakao branch of the Korean Chemical and Textile Food Workers' Union held a "second action of the Kakao community to denounce irresponsible management and ease job insecurity" in front of Pangyo Kakao Agit in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, at 12 p.m. on the 17th, and marched to the front of H Square, where Kakao Agit, XL Games, and Kakao Enterprise are located.

"The union decided to hold additional rallies as the management did not respond to the first rally, which demanded an apology for greedy management and responsible management, which focuses only on accumulating deficits and management profits," the union said.

"The social promise, the company's performance, the stock price and the remuneration of representatives are going the opposite," said Seo Seung-wook, head of Kakao's labor union. "This is the reality of irresponsible management."

The union plans to demand the company's audit and withdrawal of the advisory contract for Baek Sang-yup, a part-time advisor, this week.
