[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Seoul, September 16, 2025 — Hyundai Card announced that Korea’s three leading K-pop entertainment companies—YG Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment—have all adopted its corporate card services, highlighting Hyundai Card’s differentiated strategy that goes beyond payment to emphasize brand identity, design, and specialized services.
According to industry sources, JYP Entertainment introduced Hyundai Card’s corporate card on September 1, following YG Entertainment in April 2012 and SM Entertainment in February 2015. With JYP’s adoption, all three major K-pop entertainment companies now use Hyundai Card for their corporate transactions.
Hyundai Card offers customized plate designs that reflect each entertainment company’s unique brand identity. JYP’s corporate card incorporates the company logo and signature blue color, aiming to instill a stronger sense of belonging among employees. A Hyundai Card official explained, “Each entertainment company, including its idol groups, has distinctive characteristics. We collect input from these companies to design tailor-made corporate cards that embody their identity.”
Beyond design, Hyundai Card differentiates its corporate card services with dedicated account managers for each client, monthly usage analysis reports, and enhanced efficiency tools. The company also provides a corporate card management system and a “self-closing” service that allows clients to conveniently process complex tasks—such as payment adjustments, deposit refunds, or representative changes—online.
This strategy has solidified Hyundai Card’s leadership in the corporate card market. According to the Credit Finance Association, Hyundai Card’s cumulative corporate credit card spending (domestic and overseas, lump-sum and installment) reached KRW 21.7 trillion as of July 2025, the highest among Korea’s eight major credit card companies, including Lotte, BC, Samsung, Shinhan, Woori, Hana, Hyundai, and KB Kookmin.
