[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Naver and Kakao are set to join the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI).

According to industry sources on the 18th, the FKI will hold its general meeting on the 20th to approve the membership applications of new companies.

The companies applying for membership reportedly include Naver, Kakao, HYBE, and several gaming firms.

The FKI has long extended invitations to IT companies such as Naver and Kakao to join the organization.

The decision by the two tech giants to join is driven by the growing need for cooperation with other companies in the rapidly evolving global AI market.
