[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Yellow Balloon said on the 13th that it expects strong earnings to continue in the second quarter following the first quarter.

According to data analyzed by Yellow Balloon, the reservation rate for package products in the second quarter increased more than 1,200% year-on-year, showing a recovery of about 80% compared to pre-COVID-19 in 2019.

In addition, from the fourth quarter of last year to the second quarter of this year, the number of new members of its channel has steadily increased by more than 8% per month. As of the end of June this year, the atmosphere continues to be good in the first quarter, with MAU (monthly active users) also rising by about 40% compared to last year.

In preparation for the pandemic era since last year, Yellow Balloon has been striving to preemptively respond by subdividing targets by analyzing customer inflow data and developing various themed travel products accordingly. In addition, the company succeeded in turning around its first quarter earnings in three years and three months by enhancing its own sales channels and focusing on improving profitability through system advancement.
