The world's fifth successful development of gas turbines for power generation is the result of business diversification.
Doosan Enerbility announced on the 21st that it has signed a contract with the Agency for Defense Development to produce and process turbine Bainblade casting products.
Aviation and power generation gas turbines have similar operating principles and structures based on the same technology. The main purpose of aviation gas turbines is to secure thrust (force that pushes objects in the direction of motion) of aircraft, and high power, lightweight and operational flexibility are the core of the design. Gas turbines for power generation are different in that they are larger than aviation for the purpose of high efficiency, high power and stability.
In June, Doosan Enerbility signed a contract with the Agency for Defense Development to design the layout of the turbofan engine for aviation and to interpret components.
