The company, headquartered in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, stated on Monday that the lockout will be lifted starting at 9 a.m. on April 2.

Energy Materials plans to reinstate employees to the worksite following safety training.

Currently in its trial operation phase ahead of full-scale operations in the second half of the year, the company had announced a workplace lockout on March 18 at 10 a.m., suspending plant operations until the labor union ended its strike and returned to work.
