Industry sources reported on the 13th that Hyundai Transys CEO Yeo Soo-dong will step down, with Baek Chul-seung, the current head of business promotion, expected to succeed him. Yeo has served as the inaugural CEO of Hyundai Transys since its formation in 2019, following the merger of Hyundai Dymos and Hyundai Powertech, leading the company for the past five years.

For Hyundai’s construction affiliates, Hyundai Construction and Hyundai Engineering are also expected to be included in the executive reshuffling. Lee Han-woo, the head of the Housing Business Division, is anticipated to replace Hyundai Construction CEO Yoon Young-joon. For Hyundai Engineering, the likely successor to CEO Hong Hyun-sung is Ju Woo-jung, currently the head of finance at Kia.

In recent years, Hyundai Motor Group has conducted CEO and president appointments in mid-November, with executive promotions typically following in December.
