CJ Bibigo Dumplings Recalled Due to Plastic Contamination

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] CJ CheilJedang’s popular brand ‘Bibigo’ has recalled certain dumpling products after plastic contamination was discovered, according to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).


On the 24th, the MFDS stated that the affected product is the 'Bibigo Jinhan Kimchi Dumplings' (400g), with a consumption date of June 23, 2025. Consumers who purchased this product are advised to stop consumption and return it to the place of purchase.

CJ CheilJedang is voluntarily recalling the product, prioritizing consumer safety, and has announced plans to strengthen its quality control system to prevent future incidents.
