[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Starting from August 1st, the wholesale gas prices for residential use are set to increase. Specifically, the price will rise by 1.41 won per MJ for residential wholesale gas, and by 1.30 won per MJ for general wholesale gas.
Based on these adjustments, it is estimated that for a typical 4-person household in Seoul, the monthly gas bill (including VAT) will increase by approximately 3,770 won.
