[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Following the Constitutional Court's ruling to uphold the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol, domestic IT services swiftly responded by updating information across their platforms.

Naver, Daum, and other search engines changed the designation of President Yoon to "Former President" on their profiles, reflecting his loss of office. Meanwhile, related keyword search volumes surged.

According to industry reports, when searching for "Yoon Suk-yeol" on Naver, Daum, and Google, the title now shows "Former President" rather than "President." This update came shortly after the Constitutional Court’s decision at 11:22 AM on the same day, which triggered the immediate effect of his removal from office. Other websites, including Google, Nate, and Zoom, also reflect the change to "Former President" when searching for Yoon.

At the same time, by 1:00 PM, the keyword "Yoon Suk-yeol" ranked first in Google’s real-time trending searches, with over 200,000 searches recorded—a more than 1000% increase compared to previous levels. Associated keywords such as "Impeachment," "Removal," and "Constitutional Court" also saw a surge in search volume.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), "Yoon Suk-yeol Impeachment" also topped real-time trends. Around 390,000 posts were made with related hashtags, while keywords like "Defendant" and "President Removal" gained popularity as well.
