PPES is a company that supplies electric vehicle batteries to various global automakers (OEMs), including Toyota. LG Chem plans to provide cathode materials to the PPES plant in Japan, targeting the year 2026.

LG Chem is already supplying cathode materials for several global OEM electric vehicle models.
