[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] North Korea's consecutive release of waste-filled balloons for two days has caused disruptions in the landing and takeoff of aircraft at Incheon International Airport early on the 26th.

According to the Incheon International Airport Corporation, from 1:46 AM to 4:44 AM, domestic and international flights were temporarily suspended or delayed for about three hours. The airport explained that this precaution was taken due to concerns that foreign objects could be sucked into aircraft engines during operation. Currently, flight operations have returned to normal.

According to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff, North Korea released waste balloons again the previous night, marking the sixth such incident this year. On the night of the 24th, approximately 350 waste balloons were released, with about 100 reported to have landed in areas of northern Gyeonggi Province and Seoul in South Korea.
