[Alpha Biz= Ellie Kim] Homeplus, currently under corporate rehabilitation proceedings, reported a net loss exceeding 1 trillion won for the 2025 fiscal year.

According to its disclosure, the company posted revenue of 5.8 trillion won, an operating loss of 546.4 billion won, and a net loss of 1.001 trillion won. Revenue declined 17% year-on-year, while both operating and net losses widened.

Homeplus has now recorded losses for five consecutive years since fiscal 2021.

The company’s liquidity position remains under severe pressure, with current liabilities totaling 4.29 trillion won compared to just 408.2 billion won in liquid assets.

Auditor Ernst & Young Han Young issued a disclaimer of opinion, citing significant uncertainty over the company’s ability to continue as a going concern. The auditor noted that Homeplus’ survival depends on court approval of its rehabilitation plan.

This marks the second consecutive year that Homeplus has received a disclaimer of opinion.
